Safety Is Always the Highest Priority
Ornaldo has dedicated his career to keeping our families safe – as a U.S. Marine, a police officer, and a 13-year City Council member. During his tenure, public safety has always been Ornaldo's highest priority. Ornaldo helped bring our city 200 new police officers, 300 new police vehicles, 6 new fire stations, and 7 new fire trucks.
Keeping Pasadena Affordable for our Families
Ornaldo knows how families struggle when the cost of living goes up. As a city council member, Ornaldo never increased our tax rate, never raised our garbage rate, and never raised our water rate.​
Stronger Neighborhoods for a Stronger City
As a city council member, Ornaldo has championed more than $100 million in infrastructure upgrades to streets, sidewalks, flood prevention, and water and sewer lines.
As a Councilmember, Ornaldo Ybarra is building a Pasadena that is safe for our families and is committed to continuing the progress that has been made.
